David Murdico is the Creative Director and Managing Partner of Supercool Creative Agency.
Supercool specializes in online video creative & production, viral marketing strategy, social media, PR and influencer marketing for some of the coolest brands and startups on the planet, including Capcom (Street Fighter X Tekken), T-Mobile, Pizza Hut, Atari, THQ, Dickies, Dish and IBM.
Despite his reluctance to smile in pictures due to his belief that showing teeth is a sign of aggression, David has written over 300 articles – many extremely funny, pithy, snarky, and often offensive, for a variety of publications including AdAge, Business Insider, iMedia Connection, MediaPost, ReelSEO, AgencyPost, YFS Magazine and the Supercool Blog.
David has been a featured speaker and panelist at MediaPost’s Social Media Insider Summit, Digital Hollywood, USC’s Smash Marketing event, and most recently the Web Congress as well as many others.
He’s also been a guest lecturer at The University of Southern California’s Annenberg School of Communications Masters Program and the Human Behavior (MHB) Masters Program.
David is a frequent guest on various radio shows, and he also served as an expert witness in one of the first-ever music intellectual property lawsuits involving social media, Carly Rae Jepsen and Owl City.
